Wilson's Disease

an inherited disorder characterized by liver disease, movement disorders, and psychiatric problems. It involves abnormalities in a protein that removes excess copper from the body. The symptoms associated with WD are due to the build-up of excess copper in the liver, brain, and other tissues. Wilson disease is also known as hepatolenticular degeneration.
