CD Spectroscope | English

This simple CD spectroscope has been designed by Prof Ashworth of South Africa. You need an old CD, printout on an A-4 size card sheet, scissors and glue. The dimensions of the box are given in this diagram. Cut two squares on one end and also cut along the dotted lines. Then cut a long slit in the paper. The CD will be inserted through this slit. Also cut a small rectangular slit and a circular window for viewing. Now gently crease all the lines and then fold the card sheet to make a small rectangular box.
