It is the anniversary of the Ian nuclear deal, otherwise known as the JCPOA. But it is not a time to celebrate. After weeks of talks in Vienna, the US is still refusing to remove all sanctions as Iran has demanded. This not only jeopardizes the outcome of the talks, but leads Iran to conclude that the US headed by President Joe Biden still believes the maximum pressure campaign actually works.
