How to repair tent poles - Re-thread Cord - the easy way

This is my brief video on how to repair tent poles. I got frustrated with other videos so here's my quick version. You will need spare elastic cord, i got mine from ebay. I used 3mm over the 2mm that was there for durability. You need about 10 meters for an average two man tent. Do measure your poles if you have a big tent. Also check the internal diameter, 3mm maybe to thick in some poles but 3mm is better. For threading you will also need to find an old windscreen and remove the metal stiffeners. Th
