20 row electrically powered In-Row weeder

This video shows the first of a new design of machines designed to remove weeds both within and between crop rows in transplanted crops such as salads and brassicas. It features a brushless electric rotor drive replacing the hydraulic motors we have used previously. The high energy efficiency and compact nature of these units allows us to fit 20 rotors on this machine to achieve a very high work rate. This machine was built by Garford Farm Machinery Ltd as part of their Robocrop range of weeding equipmen
