Iran's petrochemical sector expecting a leap in near future

Iran aims at launching several projects in the field of gas and petrochemical industry aimed at diminishing the country’s reliance on crude oil exports based on its sixth economic development plan. The Iranian oil ministry has announced that the country’s petrochemical sector aims at reaching a total production of 72-million-tons in 2017 given the appropriate infrastructures and adequate feedstock.
