[14] Short Tafsir by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei | Acting Based Upon The Condition

A difference in conditions and circumstances necessitates that we plan and act accordingly. What are the verses of the holy Qur'an that pertain to this statement? And are there any contradictions when it comes to verses of the holy Qur'an, which might superficially show a contradiction? Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei provides us with a short interpretation of the following verse of the Holy Quran. Chapter 8 (al-Anfal), Verse 65: O Prophet! Urge the believers to battle [the enemy]; if there are among you twenty patient ones, they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are among you a hundred [patient ones], they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a people without understand.
