محمدمهدی عسگرپور علی (متولد 1342 تهران) فارغ‌التحصیل سینما از دانشکده صدا و سیما، تهیه‌کننده و کارگردان اهل است.
وی فعالیت هنری را سال 1366 با کارگردانی فیلم‌های کوتاه آغاز کرد. از دیگر فعالیت‌های جنبی او می‌توان به معاونت بخش جنگ بنیاد سینمایی فارابی، سرپرست مرکز سینمای تجربی، مدیر گروه کودک و نوجوان شبکه دوم، مدیرعامل بنیاد سینمایی فارابی، معاون هنری سازمان فرهنگی هنری شهرداری تهران و مدیرعامل خانه سینما اشاره کرد.

His other side activities include the deputy director of the war department of the Farabi Cinema Foundation , the head of the Experimental Cinema Center, the director of the Children and Adolescents Group of the Second Channel , the director of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, the artistic deputy of the Tehran Municipality Cultural and Artistic Organization and the director of the Cinema House .
