Iran Israel Protest: Hardliners In Tehran Call For Revenge Following Deadly Israeli Attack In Syria

Almost two hundred hardline protesters gathered near the former Israeli embassy in Tehran and called for revenge - hours after a deadly Israeli airstrike in Syria killed two Iranian generals and five officers.

The Israeli airstrike demolished Iran’s consulate in Syria on Monday.

The strike appeared to signify an escalation of Israel’s targeting of military officials from Iran, which provides money and weapons to Hamas and other militants responsible for the Oct. 7 attack against Israel.
