Esther: The Inspiring Backbone behind MILAD👸🏻
Last Saturday (25th July 2020), BaLifA has joined in hand with MILAD to conduct a virtual interview with the president of MILAD to reveal more about this organization's journey and her challenges in managing MILAD itself.
Esther Lim, who currently entitles as the President of Malaysian Independent Living Association for Disabled (MILAD) has shared the initial point of MILAD's establishment, the progressions throughout these years and some valuable messages for the society in the future.
"The goal is to train and empower the disable people towards an independent living, to have rights and equal opportunity. We also try to create awareness among the public so that they have the right prerspective regarding the issues on disabilities. Thus, with the right perspective, hopefully they are able to transform into a society who embracing the disable people."
Esther is really one of a kind woman who strive hard not only for herself, but for the other minority groups and for the transformation of society as a whole as well. She stunned us with her inspiring words and brave actions!
