Film of a pelican eating fish, filmed this during my vaccination in Florida (I´m from Sweden, the northern part of Europe).
Pelicans are characterized by there long beak and large throat pouch, which they use for catching and eating prey. Pelicans have been partially disliked due to competition with commercial and recreational fishing. Because of habitat destruction, disturbance, and environmental pollution their population has decreased.
