Once a year, for about three days, the Wild roses near my home bloom. When that happens, I drop everything and go picking petals. Then, I make Rose Petal jam. it is one of the most delicious jams I have ever made and is such a lovely thing to add to toast or deserts. Rose petal Jam is also incredibly easy, and it makes a wonderful gift.
