British rock/pop musician Robert Palmer released 14 studio albums starting in 1974 until his untimely death in 2003, aged only 54. In the early 80s he was very much inspired by the emerging electronic scene. "You Are In My System" from his "Pride" album is a cover of a song originally released by electro disco/soul duo The System in 1982. Robert Palmer's version was released by Island Records in 1983. This is the extended 12" version remixed by Dominique Blanc-Francard. My particular copy is the US pressing (0-96996).
