DIY Moss Wall
DIY moss wall frame.
We made a box frame using 4 pieces of wood cut to 4x2 feet. I then laid the tapestry frame on top this created a nice lip all around the front of the frame.
We used leftover wood to create a ledge on the top to hang grow lights so they were somewhat hidden.
Within the frame we laid the damp moss inside and then from the back covered with waterproof plastic to hold the moss in place.
Once the construction was finished we chose our cuttings and created a moss ball around the roots and wrapped with twine. The finishing touches were using a zip tie to attach the cutting “bulb” to the mesh part of the moss frame.
We are super happy with the results and I am looking forward to seeing these leaves grow huge as they climb up the moss wall.
