It was so much fun!! I love cooking classes because not only do you get to eat delicious food, but you also learn a lot about the country, culture, and meet people from all over the world!
From fresh pasta to traditional ragù. Stefano's mamma will help you unveil the kitchen secrets of a true florentine family and at the same time you'll be cooking her specialities together, And of course eat it.
She will teach you how to make the real Italian pasta from scratch.
We prepared two traditional pastas: "Tortelli di patate" and "Gnocchi" at the same time, the perfect sauces to match: "Ragù" and "Burro e Salvia".
We followed real tradition, so no machinery required for pasta, only a few ingredients and roller pin!
This experience was hosted at “mammas” house garden located in Tuscany "Villa Savonarola". An original structure from the sixteenth century.
At the end of this experience, I guarantee you, that you will have acquired the knowledge to cook like a real Italian mamma!
