Perhaps an overlooked aspect of peace is eschatology. In a proleptic way (bringing the reality of the future into the present), peace in the Church demonstrates the eschatological reality now that the God of peace will be faithful complete the sanctification of all Believers at the future coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
