AHVAZ - IRAN | Walking on the White Bridge at Sunset | پل سفید اهواز
White Bridge is an arch bridge located in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, built above the Karun river. The bridge was completed on September 21, 1936, and was inaugurated on November 6, 1936. The bridge remains a symbol of the city still today.
پل سفید اهواز یا پل معلق یا پل هلالی نام یکی از پل‌های شهر اهواز است که یکی از نمادهای این شهر نیز محسوب می‌شود. این پل در سال ۱۳۱۵ خورشیدی در دوره رضا شاه پهلوی بر روی رودخانهٔ کارون ساخته شده‌است که دارای دو قسمت پل معلق (یکی ۱۳۶ متری و دیگری ۱۳۰ متری) و سه قسمت قوسی ۴۹ متری هست.
