Dub Caravan presents an Arabic reggae instrumental called “Jamaican Jallab” ( جلاب جامايكي ) fusing the rhythms and feeling of classic Jamaican reggae with classical Arabic music, instruments and scales. The track features two great Syrian Musicians - Mohamad Fityan on Ney and Youssef Nassif on Qanun.  Jallab is a type of fruit syrup popular in the Middle East made from carob, dates, grape molasses and rose water and very popular in Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt.
