Toast Sandwich on Sandwiches of History⁣ (1865)

A little over a year ago I did the Toast Sandwich from “Mrs. Beeton’s Book of Household Management” of 1865. Since then many a meme page has posted screenshots from the its wikipedia page. And every time they do, I get asked to make the sandwich. And when I respond I say thanks and that I did it over a hear ago. But it dawned on me that was the pre plus up era. What if we could take this seemingly dull sandwich and plus it up into something better? So, here we are, revisiting the Toast Sandwich. Keep in mind, when I’m plussing up a sandwich, I am trying to avoid turning it into an entirely different sandwich.
