1. Wave-particle duality: One of the fundamental concepts in quantum mechanics is the wave-particle duality. According to this principle, particles such as electrons and photons can exhibit both wave-like and particle-like behavior. This means that they can exist in a superposition of states, behaving as waves with certain probabilities of being found at different locations, and they can also behave as discrete particles when measured.

Uncertainty principle: The uncertainty principle, formulated by Werner Heisenberg, states that it is impossible to simultaneously know the precise position and momentum of a particle with absolute certainty. The more accurately you try to measure one of these properties, the less accurately you can know the other.
