While Mio is happy to be there, Shun is concerned that they haven't contacted each other in three years.
The woman who Shun was supposed to marry, Sakurako, arrives on the island. She still has feelings for Shun and informs im that his father is ill. Even so, Shun has feelings for Mio, and they sleep together. He also decides to visit his family, but rather than stay in long-distance contact this time. Shun asks Mio to come with him.
