Gilan Iran 4K | Walking on Sheytan Kuh Lahijan (sheytan Mountain) شیطان کوه لاهیجان
Sheytan Kuh is a mountain located in the east of Lahijan town in Gilan province of Iran. In the past, this area was called Shah Neshin Kouh and a pond is located in front of it with a width of 200 meters and a length of 70 meters which was used for reserving water for irrigation. Nowadays, this lake has turned into an artificial lake where an island exists and a small mansion is seen on this island. In the heart of Sheytan Kouh, an artificial waterfall is formed which and its water is provided from this lake which is known as Lahijan Pool or Lake. This area has a favorable climate which with its waterfall and lake with the same name is considered as the highest tourist attractive place of Lahijan.
f it's not too hot, you can climb up the stairs just right of the Lahijan waterfall up to the parking lot at the amusement park, from where the cable car starts (30 min uphill hike). Else take a taxi, the last 1 km up to the top takes 1 EUR (50k IRR) entry toll, but very worthwhile.
From the top, the rather modern cable car (made in Austria) takes you up and down across lush tea gardens to another hill-top, where you can spend a wonderful evening in one of the plenty restaurant booths smoking a nargileh and sipping tea (what else...?). Small roofed pavilions around the terrace offer sitting spots and nice views of the tea plantations, the city, the artificial lake, and into the plains towards the Caspian coast.
Sheytan Kuh is probably not quite enough for a full day's program but makes a very nice hangout for sunset and into the evening hours.
قدم زدن در شیطان کوه در استان لاهیجان و پایین آمدن از پله های طولانی این کوه! و اما علت نامگذاری این کوه: به طبق نظرات عده ای از اهالی این منطقه علت نام گذاری شیطان کوه هیچ ارتباطی با با خرافه پرستی و همچنین شیطانی که در بین عموم متداول است، نیز نمی باشد. داستانی که در این باره وجود دارد طبیعت این کوه به گونه ای است که وقتی از بالا به پایین نگاه می کنید احساس خواهید کرد به راحتی با دویدن به دامنه میرسید اما نتیجه چیزی جز سقوط نخواهد بود و در باور قدیمی های محلی در اینجا شیطان چشم فرد را کور می کند، یا به نوعی او را گول می زند.
