I was first introduced to Crash Bandicoot with this remaster (besides playing demos in Spyro games ages ago). Years and years of fun. After all these years, I decided to finally do the max completion speedrun category of this game. Here is a list of things that I did in this run.
Crash 1 105%
Final RTA Time: 2:48:07.16
Beat Cortex
Get all 27 gems
Get all 27 gold/platinum relics
Activate the 100% Ending
Crash 2 102%
Final RTA Time: 3:02:52.76 (Got 1:56:26.76 in 100%)
Beat Cortex
Get all 25 crystals
Get all 42 gems
Get all 27 gold/platinum relics
Activate the 100% Ending twice for both 100% and 102%
Crash 3 108%
Final RTA Time: 3:36:05.20
Beat Cortex Twice
Get all 25 crystals
Get all 47 gems
Get all 31 gold/platinum relics

My goal was sub 11 hours so I am really pleased with my time. Also I got 3 huge new PBs in each individual Crash game. I felt like I ran a gauntlet here since this category is long and really brutal. There are no hob slides which saves time. Mainly because doing it on PC is easier then doing it on console and I didn’t get to learning it. Crash 1 105% is the most unforgiving, Crash 2 102% has really tight relic times (I’m looking at you Hangin' Out!), and Crash 3 108% has the most janky gameplay mechanics out of the 3. Overall, there are some parts that are complete disasters such as me restarting Rolling Stone towards the end of the 105%. But I don’t care to improve this run in the future since it is great for my skill level. My end goal was sub 10 hours. Also I have subbed my Spyro HD Trifecta time of 9:36:05! So with all of this in mind, I’m glad I paid tribute to this awesome franchise with this mammoth of a run! :D
Note: I have to record in real life in between runs to record this run properly because Game Capture HD only records up to 6 hours at a time for me. I have put a small meme at the VERY end of the video just for fun.
