Presentation Zen Technique
In this video, I'm going to be teaching you a presentation Zen technique that can help you to design and deliver better presentations. These key principles are from one of my favorite books “Presentation Zen: Simple Ideas on Presentation Design and Delivery” by Garr Reynolds.
Presentation Zen is a technique that will help you to focus your thoughts and reduce the stress that can come with presenting. Think of this as healthcare administration day in the life tips.
Thia technique inspires us to think creatively about the slide preparation, design, and the delivery of our presentations. Incorpotating principles of design with the Zen-like simplicity of presenting with impactful images, helps us create simpler and more impactful presentations.
Adopting the Presentation Zen technique helps to decreases cognitive overload for the learners, makes your presentations more visual, natural, and unique; as well as improves the overall impact by allowing the listener to process the information while their complete attention is on you, the presenter.
I think of it as a frame of mind, allowing you to connect with your audience in a meaningful way building on the human-to-human connection that is the very basis of all communication.
