Hello, my dear friends, today we want to go to the beautiful Vank Church in Isfahan.😊
This church is one of the biggest historical attractions of Iran. Also, this church is a place of worship painted from the Bible.Vank Church was built by Armenian immigrants during the Safavid era of Shah Abbas.This church is also known as "Amnaperkich" and is one of the 13 remaining churches in Jolfa neighborhood of Isfahan from the 17th century.One of the most important features of the Vank Church that attracts everyone's attention is the outstanding effect of the works of art in this church. Many works of great artists can be seen in the corners of Vanak Church. Elegant and magnificent architecture, beautiful statues, colorful carvings, paintings and historical paintings have added to the value of Vank Church. In the yard of Vank church, the bodies of some Armenian elders are also buried.
This church is located in an area with an area of about 8700 square meters, where nearly 4000 square meters of this area are buildings and the rest are the Vanak garden and the green space of the complex. The exterior of the church is covered with bricks. In the architecture of most churches, stone was used to build the building, but in Vank Church, brick was used instead of stone. Tiles with the image of winged angels can be seen among the brick texture of the walls. The entrance street of Vanak Church and its interior area are paved
