In this video, I walked in Saqalaksar Dam.
Saqalaksar is a village in the central part of Rasht city in Gilan province of Iran, which is located 15 km south of Rasht city in Lakan district. This village is 16 minutes away from Rasht.
One of the attractions of this village is a lake with a height of 64 meters from the sea with an area of 15 hectares, which is located behind an earthen dam.
Several meanings have been used for the name Saqalaksar:
Saghalk means Sialkh meaning triangular thorn and star means head
Saqalak means hill and in general means the top of the hill
Saqqa means watering hole, Lak means stork and starling means starling.
