How to Add Places to Google Maps
Google Maps helps us to discover a place. Sometimes we didn’t find a place that is missing on Google Maps. You can add that missing place to Google Maps. Google will review, approve or reject your submission based on proper verification. Let’s see the steps to add a place to Google Maps.
1. Type www.google.com/maps in your browser.
2. If you are not signed in on Google then click on the Sign in button at the top right.
3. Sign in with your Google email and password.
4. On Google Maps, click on the Search bar at the top left.
5. Type a name of the place, if a place is not listed on Google, then you will see a text link in the suggestion that “Add a missing place to Google Maps.”
6. Click on it.
7. Type the name of the place, add category, add location or address of the place.
8. You can also add Hours, phone number, website, opening date, and photos etc.
9. If a business is running by you on this place, then you can click on the Claim this business.
10. Google will take you out to another page.
11. Once you will fill all the required inputs properly on the Add a place form, then click on the Send button.
