Tehran Zoo
Tehran-Iran
The first zoo in Iran was built during the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar in a part of Dushan Tappeh Palace. This zoo was for the king's entertainment and it housed a collection of Persian lions and a number of Mazandaran tigers. Two animals that no longer exist in Iran and even in its zoos.
During this period, except when the Shah came there, visiting was open to the public, and the zoo gradually expanded to its current form, and now the Tehran Zoo is located on 7a seven-hectare plot of land next to Eram Park. The animal visit route is designed so that when entering and exiting you can see all the animals and exit the same entry route. Despite this route design, it is still better to get a map of the zoo from the input information from the beginning so that you do not miss seeing some of the animals.
More than 800 creatures from 111 different species live in the small and large cages of Eram Zoo, which are different species of mammals, reptiles, aquatic animals and birds. About 60% of these animals are native to Iran and the rest are brought to Iran from other parts of the world, especially Africa. You may want to know why these animals and why not other animals? The most important reason for choosing species can be considered climatic conditions. If you love animals, you know how exciting it can be to have a lion cub in your arms. Of course, do not forget that you should not be afraid first and then love them, otherwise they may put a small souvenir on your hand. Leaving aside the souvenir photo with the lion cubs, you can go to the python. In India alone, the snake can not be thrown around the neck, here, too, you can take a souvenir photo with this large snake.

اولین باغ وحش ایران در زمان سلطنت ناصرالدین شاه قاجار در بخشی از قصر دوشان تپه ساخته شد. این باغ وحش برای تفریح شاه بود و در ان مجموعه ای از شیرهای ایرانی و تعدادی ببر مازندران نگهداری می شد. دو جانوری که دیگر در ایران و حتی در باغ وحش های آن هم وجود ندارند.
در این دوره به جز زمانی که شاه به آنجا می آمد، بازدید برای عموم آزاد بود و کم کم باغ وحش گسترش یافت تا به شکل کنونی در آمد و اکنون باغ وحش تهران در زمینی به وسعت هفت هکتار جنب پارک ارم مستقر است. مسیر بازدید از حیوانات طوری طراحی شده که هنگام ورود و خروج بتوانید تمامی حیوانات را ببینید و از همان مسیر ورود، خارج شوید. با وجود این طراحی مسیر باز هم بهتر است از همان ابتدا نقشه باغ وحش را از اطلاعات ورودی بگیرید تا دیدن بعضی از حیوانات را از دست ندهید.
بیشتر از 800 جاندار از 111 گونه مختلف در قفس های کوچک و بزرگ باغ وحش ارم زندگی می کنند که از گونه های مختلف پستانداران، خزندگان، آبزیان و پرندگان می باشند. حدود 60 درصد این حیوانات بومی ایران و باقی از نقاط دیگر دنیا به خصوص آفریقا به ایران آورده شده اند. شاید بخواهید بدانید چرا این حیوانات و چرا حیوانات دیگر نه؟ مهم ترین دلیل انتخاب گونه ها را می توان شرایط آب و هوایی دانست. اگر به حیوانات علاقه داشته باشید می دانید که لذت در آغوش گرفتن یک توله شیر چقدر می تواند هیجان انگیز باشد. البته فراموش نکنید که باید اول نترسید و بعد هم دوستشان داشته باشید و گرنه امکان دارد روی دستتان یک یادگاری کوچک بگذارند. از عکس یادگاری با توله شیرها که بگذریم، می توانید به سراغ مار پیتون بروید. تنها در هند نمی توان مار را دور گردن انداخت، اینجا هم می توان با این مار بزرگ عکس یادگاری گرفت.
