This video shows feral hogs rooting on the side of the road at a distance of 150 yards. The video was taken at dawn in fairly bright conditions without the use of an IR illuminator. As can be seen in the video, the PVS-30 produces a useable image all the way up through 20X magnification.
**For those wondering, both units were mounted to a rail I made for my tripod and were not mounted to a rifle**
The KAC PVS-30 is optimized and tested for medium to long-range sniper weapons including .50 caliber rifles and day optics with magnification up to 20X. The PVS-30 uses collimated optics which allow it to be mounted in front of a day optic without the need for re-zeroing and is guaranteed to maintain POI within .5 MOA.
The AN/PVS-30 is an excellent long-range clip-on with milspec reliability and durability. Similar optics in this class include the L3 CNVD-LR (AN/PVS-24-LR) and the FLIR PVS-27 MUNS (AN/PVS-27)
