Shampoo generally has a lot of unnecessary nasty chemicals in it, this natural shampoo recipe avoids bad chemicals, is cruelty free & comparatively eco-friendly too! It is also a lot cheaper when you consider the life time use of the ingredients,
A lot of people turn to 'no-poo' shampooing because they want to get away from the harsh effects of conventional shampoos and gain many benefits that come from that. This is still a shampoo, but it is a lot gentler and doesn't strip natural oils in the way conventional shampoos do.
I use it about twice a week and have a apple cider vinegar rinse about half that time as well.

Homemade natural shampoo
- 1/2 cup coconut milk - conditions hair, helps it foam
- 1/2 cup castile liquid soap - natural cleaner!
- 1 tbsp vitamin e oil - preservative and restorative oil
- 1 tsp fenugreek powder - detangling properties
- 20 drops lavender essential oil, 10 drops rosemary -great for scalp, antibacterial etc.
