2024 Mazda MX-30 R-EV - Can The Rotary Range Extender Save The MX-30?

The Mazda MX-30 is a pleasant EV, but because of its small battery and limited practicality, it's never been a big sales hit. Now Mazda has launched a range extender version with a smaller battery and a rotary engine under the hood to alleviate the pure-electric variant's range anxiety. It's on sale in Europe right now and while it's a lot better than the BEV version, has it got what it takes to woo plug-in hybrid buyers its way?
