Strawberry Tart With Vanilla Custard Cream is a fresh and delicious dessert. It is perfect at any time of the year, especially in spring and summer. I love the combination of vanilla custard cream and strawberries. You also can use raspberries or other berries you like.

Ingredients:
Tart crust:
200g flour
75g sugar
100g butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
pinch of salt

Custard cream:
2 eggs
150g sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
30g cornstarch
500 ml milk

Syrup:
50g sugar
75 ml water
2 tbsp lemon juice

500-600g strawberries

Directions:
1. In a large bowl add the flour, sugar, salt, and combine. Add the butter, egg, and vanilla essence, and mix until the dough is ready.
2. Put the dough into the fridge for 1h.
3. Roll the dough and put it into a baking form. Cover the dough with parchment paper and add some rice or beans. Bake at 180C for 20 min. Remove the rice and bake for another 10 min.
4. Prepare the cream. In a bowl add the eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, and cornstarch and mix well. Add the hot milk continuing to stir. Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and put it on low heat continuing to mix until the cream is ready.
5. Put the cream into a bowl and let it cool.
6. Prepare the syrup. Put the water, sugar, and lemon juice into a saucepan. Put it on low heat and boil it for 3-5 min.
7. Pour the cream into the tart crust and decorate with strawberries. Put it in the fridge for a minimum of 2h!
8. Enjoy it!
