Jodha Akbar - ZEE TV USA

Jodha Akbar is a sixteenth century love saga about a political marriage of convenience between a Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodha. After the death of Akbar's father, he was trained to be a hard-nosed, tough and heartless assassin. He learned to expand his empire at the cost of other people's lives, and at the cost of love. Jodha on the other hand, valued all forms of life and was highly capable of love but hated the Mughals whom she saw as a threat to her land.
