Faisal Saad Alawi 1949 - 7 February 2010 Yemeni singer and artist considered a pioneer of the Lahiji song. He was famous for playing the oud and became famous in the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf countries.
Faisal Alawi is a well-known Yemeni artist and singer, born in 1949 in the village of Al-Shaqa'a, Tibn District, Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen. His father, Alawi Saad, was an artist, and his grandfather was a jurist and imam of a mosque. His first artwork was in 1958 AD, his famous song "Basalk with Love Ya Faten Jameel" composed by Saleh Nasser Kurd and written by Ahmed Abadi Hussein. The artist Faisal Alawi was educated at the Mohsiniya School.
