With the Death Note movie
With the Death Note movie on Netflix being released many may want to watch Death Note. The Death Note manga created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata came first but what put motion sound and more intensity to the story was the anime.
The Death Note anime is comprised of many tension filled episodes of sherlock holmes like mind games. The games of cat and mouse of Death Note could seem confusing to some but they are no less intriguing.
In hopes of offering a simple take of the series without getting too in depth this video serves as an explanation of Death Note as well as a refresher for those who have seen the series. It also serves to let the curious who haven't seen the Death Note anime or read the Death Note manga a sample if what they are missing.
What is Death Note about? Is it about good vs evil? Is it about what is wrong in the world? Is it the battle of wits that transpire between Kira and L?
Not action packed Death Note still manages to keep the audience engaged and keep guessing what is going to happen next. With an interesting premise and twists at every corner with excellent execution it is no surprise Death Note became popular enough to spark a live action movie in the United States.
