Your anesthesiologist often places a breathing tube to support your breathing when you're under anesthesia. However, we often need to lubricate the breathing tube to to minimize irritation to the mucosal tissue in the back of your mouth. in this video I show at laryngeal mask airway, also known as an lma, and how there is condensation on it from the patient's lungs as they were breathing through this breathing tube during their surgery.

there was also a bike block in this patient's mouth during the surgery to minimize the risk of tongue biting, and breathing through biting, when they were waking up from anesthesia at the end of surgery.
