Ab-Pari Waterfall - Royan, Mazandaran, Iran | آبشار آب پری ، رویان
Ab Pari waterfall is located in Mazandaran Province. This waterfall is located 5 km from Nour city, near the town of Royan. Trees in Ab Pari waterfall are placed at a low distance and most of the areas remained pristine and untouched. This area is located in the vicinity of Kojour and Yoosh. Ab Pari waterfall is on the side of the road. This waterfall has no resemblance to the waterfall because a part of the landslide of rocks is condensed at the steep slope of the mountain and little water is in the stream among the rocks. However, numerous tourists come to this place on holidays and weekends. The temperature difference of this area with Royan is almost 10 degrees Celsius. Forest trees can be seen in the lower elevations and pine trees can be seen in the higher points.
The end of this road goes to the forest-mountain road of Kojour that access to "Kandelus", "Doab" and "Marzan Abad", etc. is provided through Kojour. Along the way, there is also an output for connection to Yoosh (birthplace Nima Youshij) and "Baladeh". But, Royan forest park and Ab Pari waterfall are located before these. Ab Pari road is so smooth and it has open spaces to settle down that any tourist can easily find a good place.
Here are a few comments from visitors:
1- In an overall look the nature of the Ab Pari area and jungle is unique; however the waterfall is not so much full of water as before. You can enjoy nature more by moving toward the upper parts like Kodir or Do Ab.
The only thing that really is painful is the dust and trash left by people in nature.
2- This place is located in Royan city of Mazandaran province. The forests are known here as ab pari and are a place for local people and tourists to entertain. The air here is 5-10 degrees cooler than in other parts of the province. You can reach the village of Kadır with a 20-minute drive in the woods, which is a dream come true most of the time! The wars in this part of the province are somewhat pristine, but rarely seen in those animals and there is generally no danger in this regard.
3- A great spring , you can bring your breakfast and lunch there, a great place for outdoor energetic activity. You can do plenty of different activities such as climbing, swimming, fishing, dancing, grilling... while enjoying nature. Just have in mind to bring a warm coat and a pair of comfortable shoes with you. On the road, there are occasional people who sell traditional food which you can buy at a low price and enhance the pleasure of your trip.
4- nice view, a great place for photography and picnic with family or friends, usually crowded in Iranian holidays, the best season for visit, in my opinion, is either spring or fall. easy access from the road. not a great road and way to go there but better than many other places. safe for families and tourists.
5- u can access this waterfall easily beside the road u don't need walking u can climb up at waterfall it has very good drinking water beside of road u can find some traditional locals Food Stands sells traditional soup, grilled corn, KASHKE BADEMJAAN(traditional food with eggplant) and some other traditional food and fires tea
if u continue the road u can camp beside the river and after then u can see GALANDEROOD village after than reach to Balade and Yush famous historical village till SiyahBishe(Chaloos-Tehran)road
