Pump gas Mopar 470 engine makes 780 hp!
Pump gas 470 inch Mopar big block with Trick Flow 270 heads, Wilson ported intake and a wet vac system from Peterson Fluid Systems. Camshaft is a Comp solid roller 264/268 @ 050 duration. Engine peaked at 780 hp.
Engine was designed by Andy Finkbeiner from AR Engineering and built by Gray's Automotive in McMinnville, Oregon. Engine dyno testing was performed at Gray's Automotive in 2018.
The combination of the larger Trick Flow 270 ports and the porting work from Wilson Manifolds pushed this engine to 780 hp which is close to the breaking point for a factory cast iron block.
