A Summer Romance (2019 Hallmark Movie) Tribute: Love on the Ranch

Real estate developer, Richard (played by Ryan Paevey) is determined to buy out a ranch in Montana to build a resort; however when he met the owner of the ranch, Sam (played by Erin Krakow), he started to change his mind about his original plan when she showed him the true beauty of the ranch and the people. In the end, Ryan realized where his real home is, what really makes him happy is being on the ranch, living in the country with Sam.

A Summer Romance is a cozy, heart warming and romantic movie. One of the things I love about it is to see both characters start something different in their lives, something they both really wanted. In the movie, Richard told Sam how he felt it was constricting for her because she was born into this ranch life and not given a choice, but to a large extent, it is the same for him as well. Richard realized in the end that being a real estate developer in the family business does not really make him happy. Seeking true happiness is a beautiful theme that runs throughout this film.
