Brave Iranian woman confronts cleric who tried to report her for not wearing a veil

An Iranian woman was caught on CCTV angrily confronting an Islamic clearing who filmed her not wearing a veil inside a hospital. Local media report the woman’s veil fell off while she was tending to her baby, but the male cleric filmed her with the intention to report her to strict ‘morality police’. However, once the woman realised she had been filmed she chased the cleric down the hallway and forced him to delete the footage. The video has sparked more controversy over the Islamic Republic’s draconian dress code for women, less than two years after fierce civil protests broke out in the wake of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini’s death in police custody following her arrest for not wearing the hijab correctly. #iran #moralitypolice #hijab
