Hunting Pakistan Markhor - The Trophy Room | Mark V. Peterson Hunting
Mark Peterson is looking back on one of his most memorable hunts: having the opportunity to hunt Suleiman Markhor in Pakistan back in 2016.
Suleiman Markhor come with a true hunting conservation success story. On the verge of extinction from human expansion, the STEP (Society of Torgor Environment Protection) program was started as a way to preserve this species. The core of the program uses money generated by hunting to go back into the area and give the animals value. Hunters like Mark are the tip of the spear when it comes to wildlife conservation because hunting is the #1 conservation tool.
