The Västerhöjdsgården B&B, Skövde, Sweden at Christmas and a short look around Gothenburg.
Another overseas #trip and this time we stay in a B&B in the Västerhöjdsgården in Skövde, Sweden. It was a work trip, fairly last minute and this was pretty much the only place left!
Cost worked out at approx £88 per night for a twin room. We stayed for two nights.
As it was a work trip, I filmed what I was able of the town including an hour or so in #Gothenburg. Hopefully you get a bit of a feel.
Overall, both Skövde (sort of pronounced Huve-da) and Gothenburg we very nice places to be. I look forward to returning and having a proper look around especially the latter because an hour wasn't quite enough! It nice to see what they do for #christmas though. Generally, no bright colourful lights (except outside or B&B as it happens), rather a consistent off white glow.
