Walking in the Green Square (Sabzeh Meydan) in Rasht City (Iran)
In this video, We went to Sabzeh Meydan in the heart of the beautiful city of Rasht to spend some time together
Sabzeh Meydan Rasht is one of the sights of Rasht and the old squares of this city, which is located near Shahdari Square. The nostalgic atmosphere of this square has a special attraction for tourists. In different parts of the park, there are also protomes of Gilan poets and scientists.
This nostalgic square hosts old and stout trees and pigeons that are always present in the green square photos. On non-rainy days, many people from the city gather in the square and talk to each other, or play chess or dominoes and spend their free time.
Sabzeh Meydan Rasht is located in the western part of the city and is located near Rasht Municipality Square. Lakani, Bisotun and Ostadsara streets end in this square. Alam AL HodA Street also connects Sabzeh Meydan and Shahdari Square
The area of Sabzeh Meydan is 29,700 square meters, and for the first time during the reign of Muzaffaruddin Shah, Mohammad Vali Khan Tonkaboni, nicknamed Nasr al-Sultane, who was the ruler of Rasht, started planting gardens and planting trees in this area and named it Green Square ( Sabzeh Meydan ).
