دامن آلوده و روی سیاه آورده ام
I’ve brought a sin-stained heart and feelings of ashamedness
گرچه آهی در بساطم نیست آه آورده ام
Although no sigh is left within me, I’ve brought nothing but a sigh

هرکه هستم هرکه بودم به کسی مربوط نیست
Whatever I am, whatever I was, is no ones business
بر امام مهربان خود پناه آوردهام
For I have sought refuge in my gracious Imam
