Do exhaust tips change sound?

Comparison video for anyone wondering if exhaust tips changed sound any. I was going to replace the tips anyway so I just unbolted them and ran no tips (straight 3" piping) filmed everything then got some 4" dual walled tips and then filmed everything again
1st: Cold start
2nd: Revs
3rd: Exterior WOT
4th: Interior WOT
Test vehicle is a 2002 Pontiac Trans am LS1 automatic. SLP Flo Pack, Flowtech headers, TSP true dual exhaust, tune, 3600 stall, built 4L60E
