The Yamaha XSR900 is Highly Commended in the 2022 bikesales Bike of the Year awards, proudly presented by Shannons Insurance, thanks to its beautiful engine and excellent value for money.

Powered by the same 889cc three-cylinder 'CP3' engine as its MT-09 cousin, the updated 2022 Yamaha XSR900 benefits from an increase in capacity and torque.

Also adopted from the MT-09 is a new CF-diecast Deltabox chassis, which Yamaha claims is lighter and stronger, and a comprehensive electronics suite that includes a new six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU).

Throw in the neo-retro styling and throwback colour scheme, and it’s hard to go past the Yamaha XSR900 as a pure and ultra-satisfying motorcycling experience.
