This FPV shot took many tries 🚁👀
I was recently asked by The Gobbins Cliff Path to capture some epic drone footage for the 2023 reopening of the attraction.
We captured a series of sequences around the cliff path with the drones. We staged a number of shots throughout the day, where we had people walking across the bridges and viewing platforms just as the drone flew past, so the timing was critical. It often took several takes to get the timing of everything perfect, but eventually, we nailed it 😎
It was a challenging environment for flying due to the high cliffs, making it difficult to retain video signal from the foot of the cliffs. However we still managed to capture some incredible footage! 🔥
I used a range of custom built FPV drones for this project including 3.5inch, 5 & 7 inch quads, carrying GoPros 🎥
