باغ وحش ارم یکی از جاهای دیدنی تهران است که در مجموعه تفریحی و سرسبز ارم واقع شده است. اولین نشانه‌های تشکیل باغ وحش ارم که با عنوان باغ وحش تهران نیز شناخته می‌شود، به دوران قاجار برمی‌گردد.
همه چیز از آشنایی ایرانیان با باغ وحش در سفرهای آن‌ها به اروپا شروع شد. اولین باغ وحش ایرانی با نام «مجمع الوحش» شناخته می‌شد. مجمع الوحش در زمان ناصرالدین شاه تاسیس شد و آن زمان در خیابان تختی یا سعدی امروز قرار داشت
اما روند تاسیس باغ وحش به سبک ناصرالدین شاه، با چند حیوان محبوس در مجمع الوحش به پایان نرسید و سفرهای بعدی شاه قجری به اروپا و الگوبرداری از آن‌ها، سبب شد تا بیشتر از قبل شیفته حیوانات و باغ وحش شود
باغ وحش ارم تهران تنوع جانوری قابل توجهی دارد. تنوع جانوری این باغ وحش شامل پستانداران، خزندگان، آبزیان و پرندگان است.
علاوه‌بر جانوران حیوانات داخلی، در باغ وحش ارم می‌توانید گونه‌هایی از دیگر نقاط جهان همچون قاره آفریقا را نیز ببینید. شرایط نگهداری بیشتر این حیوانات با موقعیت جغرافیایی باغ ارم سازگار است
