Khoya or Mawa (کھویا یا ماوا) is an important and very useful ingredient of many desserts and sweats. Here it has been described its making from fresh milk in a way along with its uses and so that everyone could make or use it accordingly. Here MHK is going to display in simple way for its viewers. Now let’s see what the required ingredients are and how to make this simple, easy, quick and delicious/tasty recipe in our kitchen at home.

Ingredients

1. Milk: 4 Liters (fresh & full fat)
2. Salt (نمک): 1/4 Tea Spoon or A pinch

Procedure
*-***-*-*-***-*-*-*-*-*
1. Pour the milk in pan and let it boil on full flame.

2. Add 1/2 Tea Spoon of salt when milk boils.

3. Now boil further on low to medium flame.

4. Keep on boiling till it reduced to solid condition.

5. Water of the milk has almost been dried up but still keep on cooking.

6. When the batter moves with spatula & leaves the bottom, means ready.

7. Transfer the batter in suitable container and preserve it for future use.

Tip-1: Keep the milk in boiling condition till it gets thicken.
Tip-2: Stir continuously while cooking to avoid lumps in batter.
Tip-3: Can be preserved in freezer for 6 months & in refrigerator for 1 to 1.5 months
Tip-4: Milk of tetra pack can't be used for khoya/maawa (dried evaporated solid milk).
Tip-5: Fresh and full fat milk is strongly recommended for this purpose.
