Lifting Analysis of Horizontal pressure vessel using two lifting lugs in ANSYS, Part-1

This video explains possible lifting phenomenon, It highlights the lifting possibility with two and four lifting lugs. This video demonstrate the lifting analysis of horizontal vessel by two lifting lugs which are 60 to 90 degree with respect to lifting hook. It explains how to calculate the vertical distance for respective height analytically. It also explains the contact formation for lifting lugs, meshing guide, loading and boundary conditions. It highlights, how to prepare deck for lifting analysis along with results extraction like equivalent stresses, deformation and reaction validation
